CoasterBot Design Contest

CoasterBot Design Contest sponsored by Club Jameco has now started. 

What is a coaster? A CD or DVD that has no use other than holding a beverage, or in this case, forming the framework for a robot.

Design Requirements
The challenge is to create a robot using a coaster as the main body component. The coasterbot must be able to

1. avoid obstacles
2. navigate space by itself
3. display an extra sensing system 

After that, get as creative as possible! The coasterbot can be any size or shape and can be designed to swim, fly or climb a tree.It may also function to clean windows, move rocks or shoot marshmallows. Make it as simple or complex as you wish.
