Introduction
To accommodate the requirements of Arduino enthusiasts for the use of LED light strips, DFRobot has specially introduced a dedicated LED strip driver board. This driver board not only effectively overcomes the mismatch between the output voltage of the Arduino IO port and the working voltage of the LED strip, but also provides an extremely easy-to-operate wiring and programming experience, making it the first choice for making light interactive devices.
As a LED strip driver compatible with Arduino, this expansion board has the following features:
The expansion board uses three high-quality MOS tubes, each of which can drive a 12V/2A LED strip separately. When the external power supply is 12V, the expansion board can also provide a stable 5V power supply for Arduino devices to ensure normal operation.
The expansion board comes with an infrared receiver sensor, so you can conveniently control your work through infrared signals and experience more interactive fun.
In addition, the expansion board also uses long-legged headers, compatible with most standard Arduino interfaces, effectively reducing the possibility of poor contact and pin corrosion, and increasing the durability of the device.
The expansion board only occupies three PWM interfaces (9, 10, and 11) and a digital interface (4), which are used to control the color of the RGB light strip and receive infrared remote control signals respectively. The interface uses optimization to ensure the working efficiency of the expansion board.
In order to protect the LED light strip and Arduino device, a fuse is specially designed on the expansion board, which can limit the maximum current of the device and effectively prevent the device from being damaged by overload.
The device is easy to access, and the external 12V power supply can be accessed through the interface of the terminal block, which is convenient for the deployment and use of the device.
Update prompt: The RGB LED strip driver expansion board has been upgraded, the new version has a more stable circuit design, and the original quick-connect interface has been optimized to a terminal block, making it more convenient for device deployment and use.
