Hi, I've a question about the 4WD Mobile Platform. This platform have 4 DC motors, but I can connect only 2 motors to the Romeo-All in one Controller 1.1, it's true? And now, how I can connect all motors of the rover to the controller?

Thanks!

2012-05-04 02:21:41 You can just use a 8.5V, 1Amp wall wart to charge this battery. You will need a male-female converter.

You can use two of these female jacks to make a cable for charging your battery.

2012-05-04 00:49:14 I've seen this battery, it's cool, I can connect it to the Romeo and it power controller and motors (and sensors), but I don't have a power supply to recharge it. In DF store there is a power supply for this battery? Can you tell me a good solution for this problem? Thanks for your help! userHeadPic Piero78

2012-05-04 00:41:50 You can power it with a 9volt battery, but it won't last very long. I recommend something like this:

2012-05-03 22:38:01 Another question about this product. Can I to power it (Romeo controller and all 4 motors) with only a 9V battery? If it isn't possible, can you tell me a solution? If I have to open the rover to replace battery every time, it's a problem. Thanks! userHeadPic Piero78

2012-05-02 23:22:41 Hi Piero,

No, the breadboard in this case is just to help you see clearly the way to wire it.

You can just tie the wires together and connect them to the Romeo terminal block

Just pay attention to the polarity and rotation direction, if things are not working as expected you need to reverse the wires on 1 motor.

Thanks for the response!

2012-05-02 20:41:21 Hi,

You just need to plugin the 2 left motors on 1 side and the 2 right motors on the other.

Please take a look at the connection diagram I have made for you.
