Warranty Period: 90 days from the delivery date (including holidays).
Service Coverage:
a. Replacement or repair for defective products.
b. Authorization must be obtained in advance via store@dfrobot.com.
c. Out-of-warranty products: paid repair, replacement, or technical support services are available.
Eligibility Period: 30 days from the delivery date.
Basic Requirements:
a. Products must remain unopened, unused, and in their original packaging.
b. Return authorization must be obtained in advance.
Shipping Cost Rules:
1. Defective Products: Customers must advance payment for return shipping. Return shipping costs will be reimbursed after confirming the product defect. Proof of shipping payment (e.g., courier receipt/invoice) must be provided for reimbursement.
2. Non-Defective Returns: Customers bear all related costs, including return shipping, import taxes, and handling fees.
4.1 The following products or situations are not covered by warranty:
4.1.1 All consumable products, including but not limited to silicone covers, structural components, servos, motors, data cables, battery holders, etc.
4.1.2 All electronic components, including but not limited to resistors, capacitors, through-hole LEDs, transistors, diodes, etc.
4.2 Not Covered by Free Warranty:
4.2.1 Products beyond the warranty period.
4.2.2 Missing valid proof of purchase.
4.2.3 Damage caused by human actions or external factors, including but not limited to drops, impacts, improper operation, squeezing, etc., such as:
(1)Screen cracks.
(2)Motor shaft deformation.
(3)Servo gear damage.
(4)Damage to PCB or flexible LED lights caused by external force.
(5)Component dislodgement caused by the mixed packing of sensor modules.
(6)Breakage of Male Pin Headers, Female Pin Headers, and Through-Hole Components on the PCB.
(7)Output wire breakage due to repeated bending
4.2.4 Failures or damage caused by improper installation, usage, maintenance, or storage not following the user manual, such as:
(1)Short circuits caused by operating on a non-insulated surface
(2)Connecting external devices while powered on
(3)Inputting incorrect voltage
(4)Electrostatic discharge or improper soldering operations
(5)Overcharging or over-discharging the battery
4.2.5 Performance degradation or damage caused by exceeding the product's designed usage limits.
4.2.6 Failures caused by user modifications to software or firmware.
4.2.7 Damage caused by unauthorized modifications, disassembly, or repairs.
4.2.8 Damage caused by factors unrelated to the product’s design, technology, manufacturing, or quality issues.
Distributors: Policies are subject to the terms of the distributor agreement.
