You can purchase the other battery holder and use that one instead.


As far as motor controller. You could use the [url=https://www.dfrobot.com/index.php?route=product/product&filter_name=romeo&product_id=656]Romeo[/url] which is an Arduino compatible microcontroller with a motor controller integrated.


Or either of the 2 motor controllers you were looking at will also work fine. It just depends on your desired arrangement. The shield will offer a more compact solution, while the module would allow you to place it in a different location.
