Can tel0082 uhf rfid reader - uart read tag in metal cabinet?

I have a case that I want to put uhf reader in metal cabinet to recognize tag. I need to know if tel0082 can done this thing correctly. I have tried other products and found that some reader didn't work in metal cabinet. Some reader can do well, but the interface isn't uart.
