Hello,

Does anybody know how to force Bluno to need a passkey during the Bluetooth connection process to secure it?

Thanks

Alan
2015-03-20 20:13:48 Alan, I think the AT+PASSWORD is a feature that prevents other people from inputting AT command into the Bluno unless they have the password. Think of it as a security mechanism for entering AT commands to the device. However this has nothing to do with pairing to a device. ...at least that is how I understand it at the moment. userHeadPic ipatch

Alan, what device are you using? And specifically how is the AT+PASSWORD feature suppose to work?

Alan, did you make any progress with securing your BLE communications?

2015-03-19 23:45:39 Hi Alan ,

i tried to set the bluno in different ways to use the password, but all failed. :geek: according to the Wiki page.seems the new firmware doesn't approve that.

and if you want your BT to be not effected by other BLE devices, you can set it to link with settled one and bind it with the settled one's Mac address.i tried with a success.
