Any updates for the Bluno and secure communications with iOS

2015-10-16 13:00:06 I was able to successfully pair to the Bluno today based on the MAC address of the device, and I think this issue in past was related to iOS 8.x as my iOS 9.0.2 device successfully paired to the Bluno based on MAC address of the iOS 9.0.2 device. Thanks for all the help.

2015-09-30 23:02:26 Hello,
Do you mean once the Bluno was set to "at+bind=UNIQUE" , then the Bluno could still be connected with a android phone but not ios device?
I tried two AT commands separately with both android and iPhone:
1. AT+BIND=0x0017ea9397e1
2. AT+CMODE=UNIQUE
This is my test result:
1 When Bluno was only set with AT+BIND=0x0017******7e1(another BLE device's mac address), it could be connected by both iPhone and android.
2 Once I set AT+CMODE=UNIQUE, it could no longer be connected by any phone.
Is it the same as you met?
And why it is not open source? Chinese market has a really good imitative ability to recreat Bluno within a night if we have its firmware open source, plz understand. But the good news is that in the near future, when we publish the Bluno V3, we will publish the basic Bluno firmware for maker to build their own Bluno.

leff,
Hello, I'm doing well, thanks for asking. I am curious if the Bluno can work with an iOS device when the MAC address is bound to the Bluno using the appropriate AT commands. The reason I ask is because I have not had success pairing my iOS device (any iOS device for that matter) to a Bluno when I have bound a MAC address to the Bluno. The secure communications appears to work on Android mobile devices, but not with iOS. And yes I have tried several different versions on the Bluno firmware with no luck. I am hoping this bug can be worked out in a future firmware release.
Also, why isn't the firmware for the Bluno open source? Is there any particular reason for keeping the firmware closed source?
