Hi,

I just purchased a few of the DFR0548 and then actually read the specs. I see that you are stating a max VIN of 5.5 volts which is a little on the low side when trying to retro fit a 7.2 VDC RC Car or Truck with a MicroBit + expansion board.

In looking at the schematics I see that the SPX3819 has a fairly wide input range, all the way to 16 VDC and the drv8833 motor controller can handle a VM of up to 10.8 volts. It seems that the DFR0548 should be able to handle a similar input range to the https://www.dfrobot.com/product-1492.html board.

I don't see VIN tied to anything else that may have a lower input voltage tolerance, can you let me know if you thing 10V on the input voltage would stress anything ?
