DFR0563 Gravity Gas Gauge Problems

Having problems with the DFR 0563 Gravity Gas Gauge. I can see input voltage (3.5-4.2 from fresh LiPo battery) at the terminal block. There is 0 volts on the i2c connector. Do I have a defective unit?

2019-04-12 07:56:06 I do not believe wiring is the issue. It is wired as follows:

Green - 22
Blue - 21
Red - VCC
Vlack - Ground

When Serial Cable and battery are attached the unit is polled and battery voltage and percentage results are displayed in the serial monitor as per programming. The measurement appears to be accurate when compared to volt meter measurements. When Serial Cable is removed and a charged battery is in place the volt meter indicates 4.2 volts at the green terminal block and zero volts on the red wire that connects to VCC. Zero volts are also received at the terminal for the UART Sensor wire, so it is not a bad wire or connector. btuzin
