BLE Central - HCI Library

Is there an HCI library for the BLE module at all? I would like to use this to scan for beacons in the vacinity of the board. The CC2540 chip has the ability to work in central mode and can be used to scan for other devices. Red bear labs has this ability with their BLE mini (http://redbearlab.com/blemini/), but it would be nice to have this functionality directly from the Bluno board because it has the same chip on it.
