BMI160 Accelerometer

It can take the following ranges of values: +/-2g, +/-4g, +/-8g, +/-16g.
The default range is +/-2g
I am using the "DFRobot_BMI160" librairy.
For a project, I need the range of values +/-8g but i didn't succeed changing the range.
Does anyone have a solution to change the range of values?
