USB BLE-LINK and USB 3.0, Missing ID error

With the newer computers that support USB 3.0 & 3.1 the USB BLE-Link seems to have problems installing the necessary drivers. If I plug into older computers it works fine, but my new workhorse PC comes up with the Missing ID Intel(R) USB 3.0 root hub error.
I'm not the only person with this problem. So far I haven't seen any solution. Anyone else have in luck?
Hate the idea of going back to my older computer just for this one device.

2016-01-05 18:45:48 I finally ended up purchasing a cheap USB 2.0 PCIe card. This at least allowed me to use my new computer. I know others have mentioned this same problem.

"This device cannot start. (Code 10)"
