Beatle V1.1 How to setup on a Mac??
mcolonnajr 2019-08-09 08:20:04 6402 Views3 Replies Hello, I bought a Beatle v1.1. It's the new smaller version. It doesn't have boot buttons or anything. Is this new Beatle even possible to use? Anyone have any luck?
How can I set up this device on a Mac? I was able to program it using the USB cable using Arduino IDE but my iOS device never recognized the bluetooth device using the recommended app (https://github.com/DFRobot/BlunoBasicDemo).
I used this tutorial for the previous version (v1.0) but the steps don't really work with the new version Beatle since it doesn't have Boot buttons or anything:

Also, with this tutorial, I was never able to get past the step where you input +++ in Arduino IDE Serial Monitor. Nothing gets returned for me.
Is there a new tutorial one for v1.1?
Also, how can I properly power this thing? Any recommendations?
