Wireless GamePad V2.0 for Arduino will not show in Arduino Sketch1.8.5 as connected to a serial port

I am currently working on getting my gamepad connected to my computer. For some reason even though I have everything plugged in correctly(I did not plug the power connector in upside down at any point), the Arduino Sketch does not show the gamepad as connected to any of my USB ports. I have tried multiple computers running Windows 10 and both USB 2.0 and 3.0. I am also on my second controller, as I thought the first one got fried from plugging in the power connector upside down. So any help would be greatly appreciated.
