Doubts with PH meter sensor SEN0169

Hi, I recently bought this sensor, and I try the hardware calibration with the example code that comes in the manual, my doubt is that is necessary that the variable "ArrayLenth" and "samplingInterval", has the values 40 and 20 respectively or can I move those values?, thanks.
