How to reset Vortex/ do factory setting?

Use a Smart Phone 

NOTE
 

Android/ iOS, check the compatibility, in TIPS > No.2, App download page

 Don't use your phone to other tasks while updating the firmware, even a coming phone call will stop it.

STEPS

 

Turn on VT, using 4*AA batteries or a USB cable to its backside USB port.

 Clear all backstage operating procedures of your phone in case of updating was interrupted. 

 Reopen Bluetooth of your phone, you may find VT in Control Panel, but do NOT connect them by clicking in Control Panel.

 Open the app, VortexBot, put it close to VT 

 Wait 5-10 seconds until they are paired. If not, please reboot VT. 

 After they get paired, if the firmware was lost/ VT was programmed before, the App will automaticlly remind you whether to update VT firmware

 Clike OK to start updating, and it will be done in several minutes Sometimes, it would quit in the process. Try again.

NOTE:

 

Some Android devices would have the compatible issue with firmware updataing, please try on iPhone 5+ if you got into trouble with your android phone.

 Some people ask us if there is any other way to do the factory setting/ firmware updating? Sorry, it could only be done on phone, the firmware for Arduino IDE is not open source. Very sorry about this.
