how to keep the last code in the BLUNO after turning it off

hello there!!
I've been making some projects with the BLUNO ... and I realised that every time I upload a code (use it) and then disconnect the BLUNO and connect it to power supply again it doesn't keep working with the last code ... I've used some others micro controllers and whenever I turn them off and back on they would keep running the last code i uploaded ... Is there anyway I could do the same thing with the BLUNO?
and another question ... Am I able to connect the BLUNO to an external power supply and the compute at the same time?
Regards!!

The Bluno should retain the last code that was uploaded after powering it off. What exactly makes you think this is happening?
And yes you are able to connect both at the same time, although this wont achieve much. What is it that you are trying to do?
