Light Sensors

I'm working with three Ambient Light Sensors i.e. DFR0026, SEN0043, SEN0172. i have couple of doubts,
1. Please suggest which is better for horticulture setup?
2. The unit of the output from these sensors is?
3. is it in LUX or some other unit?
4. if some other how can i convert it to LUX?

LUX is the unit of luminance flux of light.

1. They are almost with the same usage "analog read". The difference is their detect range, sorry I am not sure what is the horticulture environment LUX...
2. The following question will guide to the last one "...how can i convert it to LUX?"
Well, it requires that you have a commercial Light Sensor that can displays LUX info, then you can match the readings to the sensor's analog reading, then you could a map to describe the relationship of voltage and ambient light density.
