Romeo for Intel Edison - H Bridges

Dear Support,
I would like to program the Edison in my Romeo using the Intel XDK. I want the ability to program the device via my home network and not be require to plug into the device just to update the code. I couldn't find any information on using the Romeo in the Intel XDK.
What I would like to know is how I can access the H Bridges?
Are the H Bridges connect to the Edison via the I2C bus?
If i use the i2cdetect -l on the Edison it shows 7 I2C buses.
If i use the i2cdetect -r 1 on the Edison it shows a device at 0x04.
If i use the i2cdump 1 0x04 -w on the Edison, all the registers show XXXX.
Appreciate any help.
Kind Regards,
Nathan
