Devastator Chassis Instruction Errors

The Wiki doc for the devastator chassis contains the following warning;
"Notice: Make sure the Tank is connected to the Arduino GND when using USB to power the microcontroller."
Does this mean a separate physical ground between the chassis and the Romeo BLE GND pin needs to be established. Please provide some sort of clarification on this. Your wiring diagrams on the same Wiki doc do not show this connection. How do we achieve this connection since the is no GND screw terminal. Is this only required for USB operation and should it be removed for normal operation.
Thanks

2016-08-17 20:29:41 Hello,
Looking at the previous picture, there is a coupling between the board and the gears, and there is a groove in the screws, so the position of the gears is fixed, we need to keep the device in a plane. Part of the motor shaft need to plug into the coupling, so when you dont connect the gears, the motor shaft out of the board is about 1cm.
Hope my reply can help you.

2016-08-17 03:49:20 I understand the purpose of the gap but the instruction call out a specific dimension that is impossible to achieve. Now I see that it is not a critical dimension as long as they don't rub. Perhaps change the "1 cm" to " at least 1 mm".

On the pages detailing the motor installation the following note appears twice;
"While installing M2, leave 1 cm buffer space between M2 and B3/B4"
Since the motor shaft only extends through B3/B4, 1 cm total this is obviously not possible. Please advise so that I may continue the assembly.
Thank you and Best Regards
