Pinout for FIT0441 Brushless DC Motor

The connection diagram (pinout) for the FIT0441 motor is inconsistent and does not agree with the motor I received.

The motor I deceived has the wires connected at the motor (white connector) as follows:
red - green - yellow - black - blue

At the other end (black connector), the wires connect as follows:
yellow - blue - green - red - black

The connection diagram you show (using your pin numbering) is:
1 grey FG - 2 black POWER- (GND?) - 3 blue DIRECTION - 4 yellow PWM - 5 red POWER+ (12V?)

Right below this picture and label is a chart that contradicts it:
1 black POWER-(GND) - 2 red POWER+(12V) - 3 yellow FG - 4 white PWM - 5 blue DIRECTION

It should be clear why I am confused and afraid to hook this motor up. Please tell me what the correct pinout is so I can use the motor.

Thank you!
2017-01-27 21:35:22 For those playing along at home: The connection diagram is still wrong! Pin 1 is PWM, Pin 2 is POWER-, Pin 3 is DIR, Pin 4 is FG, and Pin 5 is POWER+. Connect Pin 1 to Arduino Pin 11, Pin 3 to Arduino Pin 10, and Pin 4 to Arduino Pin 9; **2V to Pin 5 and GND to Pin 1. Be sure to hook the GND to Arduino GND. Also, set the Serial Monitor to "No Line Ending". Note that high values result in slow speeds at the motor. On my motor, 200 results in 42 reported from FG. Now I think I can get on with my application for this motor. userHeadPic jlarson

2017-01-27 12:03:34 I'd rather give them a chance to get it right! Seems like a potentially good product that just needs to have people get the right info to be able to use it. I'm willing to give them a bit of time. userHeadPic jlarson

2017-01-26 17:53:56 Why not a refund or replacement directly? They are very kind. userHeadPic Grey.CC

2017-01-26 15:03:07 I'll be eager to hear what you have to say in a couple of weeks when the Holiday is over. I just tried your example code, being careful to connect the signals correctly, and it doesn't do anything like the output screenshot shows. Values output are erratic and not close to what you show - and the motor doesn't move one bit. So far, I'm very unimpressed with this product and would be very unlikely to recommend it to anyone. userHeadPic jlarson

2017-01-25 22:32:59 I just raw a post about FIT0441. The PWM frequency should be 20~30KHz. And the PWM value looks inversed.
I need to recheck it with the manufacturer after holiday.

2017-01-25 19:17:24 LOL! Your code is even trickier than I thought! Your comments say PWM goes to 10 and DIR goes to 11, but in the loop it is clear that you have PWM to 11 and DIR to 10! Maybe you can clean up the code commenting while you're fixing the diagram! Sorry I didn't catch that in the last post. userHeadPic jlarson

2017-01-25 19:09:03 I can read Arduino code just fine, so I'm not confused. But for those who might be less experienced and might expect your connection diagram between the motor and the Arduino to be correct, I suggest you correct the diagram. You have the FG signal to pin 11, the DIR line to pin 10 and the PWM line to pin 9. Unless I'm very much mistaken, the FG signal should go to pin 9, the PWM to pin 10 and the DIR to pin 11. That will probably work better! userHeadPic jlarson

2017-01-25 18:49:45 Thank you for your prompt reply. With the wiki fixed, you have made both the diagram and the table consistent. Wire colors don't matter with consistent labeling. I can confidently connect the motor now. userHeadPic jlarson

2017-01-24 22:06:49 Sorry for the confused. The manufacturer provides a different color cable. We've changed the wiki just now. But the pin order is same. Please relax userHeadPic Grey.CC
