pH Meter Calibration Error (SKU: SEN0161)

Greetings,

I have purchased DFRobot's pH Meter Kit (V1.1) that is powered and controlled by an Arduino UNO. I have prepared 4.01 and 7.0 pH buffer solutions for the sensor's calibration. I am using the sample code provided in the wiki site: https://wiki.dfrobot.com/PH_meter_SKU__SEN0161_

Whenever I am shorting the probe terminals, I get a reading of 1.97V and a pH value of 7.00 from the Serial Monitor.
1. Is this a correct reading for the probe and circuit board whenever the probe terminals are shorted?

The probe and circuit board worked fine with the 7.0 pH buffer solution. However, when it came to calibrating the probe and circuit board with the 4.01 buffer solution, the Serial Monitor shows a voltage reading of 0.54V and pH value of 2.02.
2. How do I resolve this?
3. If ever there's a hardware problem, is it the probe or the circuit board?
