Solar Lipo Charger 3.7V

Hello, if possible someone help me i´m trying to do this weather station

But i have some doubts,

1. Is necessary use a diode on positive cable from solar panel to the Solar lipo?

2. Can i use a lipo battery of 2000mah like this one?
