Bluno as gateway for Bluetooth keyboard? (HID host mode)

Hi,
I am looking for a solution to forward typed characters from a BT keyboard via serial line to a machine.
Would this be possible be possible with the Bluno?
Can the Bluno act as a HIS master or only as a slave (i.e. emulating a keyboard...)?
Thanks
Uli

2021-01-19 19:00:29 To be more precise: It is a digital caliper , behaving like a BT HID keyboard. So, when the data button is pressed, the caliper sends a string of keypresses like "123.45\n". I want it to talk to an old machine, still working under MS-DOS and incapable for Bluetooth.
The task for the Bluno is to act as a HID host, connect to the caliper, receive the string and forward it to the machine vie RS232.
The question in short: Can a BT keyboard be used for inputs to the Bluno?
