A02YYUW Ultrasonic Sensor Calibration for Underwater
Account cancelled 2021-02-06 12:55:05 1646 Views1 Replies Hi all, my team and I are working on an AUV and are hoping to use this ultrasonic sensor (A02YYUW) to gauge distances underwater so that we can pick up items with a gripper. However, since the speed of sound in water is faster than in air, the sensor has been underestimating the distances when tested in a sink or bathtub. Is there a way to re-calibrate the speed of sound used by the sensor or Raspberry Pi to calculate distance? Thanks!
