"shell" over SEN0390 ambient light sensor

The range of this sensor should make it suitable for measuring sunlight levels. But what is the "shell" surrounding the senor made from? Will it darken with age? Under direct sunlight, the sensor will get very hot under this shell. How does this affect the calibration?
These are critical questions for anyone who wants to use this sensor in an outdoor weather station.

2021-04-07 18:29:10 The shell is made of plastic material for concentrating light and waterproofing. The internal sensor is automatically calibrated with the program of our library. No external calibration is required. The heat is only caused by exposure to the sun for a long time, and the internal housing will not darken if it is used for a long time.
