SEN0232 outdoor usage in the winter?

I am using this sensor outdoors 24/7. It is placed within a case that saves it from rain. See the picture for more details. But now the winter is coming and I am asking myself if I need to protect the SEN0232 from low temperatures? Like -20 °C? May I cover it in silicon? Will it survive these temperatures AND what will happen to the measurements? Will they be biased due to the temperatures?
