Bluno Beetle Scan

My goal is to scan all nearby bluetooth signals and when a certain one is detected i want to do an action, I choose the beetle BLE due to the size and the site saying it is an uno with built in ble but im finding it much more difficult, is what i want to do even possible with the beetle? if so can someone offer guidance? im happy to flash custom firmware if it makes it possible
