Powering Servos with Gravity Expansion board
anonymous 2022-10-28 06:03:34 1394 Views1 Replies Hi i'm trying to power servos with the raspberry pi pico gravity expansion board. For that I need to cutoff the 3.3V supply from the pico and apply my own 5V battery supply.
Does anyone know which PCB traces I should "cut" in order to disconnect the 3.3V supply from the pico. I was going to “cut” just the one in the picture but I would like
to be certain that I am not making any mistake.

Hi
It is highly not recommended to cut the PCB, as you will lose all the 3.3v power supply on this board.
One possible way is that you can use DuPont lines. conect control pins to Digital and power pins to your own 5V supplier.
