DFR MP3 Mini MP3 Player: randomAll() only 255 tracks?

One of my options is to play randomly, using the randomAll() function. But sadly I've come to believe that only the first 255 tracks are being played!
If so, please confirm. And please explain why?

According to our wiki, it can support 100 folders with 255 songs each. It is because of the limitation of the register.
