URM15 - 75KHZ Ultrasonic Sensor - reading issue

Hello,

 

              We are using URM15 - 75KHZ Ultrasonic Sensor based on RS485 for water tank level measurement. Initially it was giving proper reading. But after some time, reading became random and currently it is giving 0xFFFF reading. We have tried with both auto and passive detection but, no change. Please help to resolve it.

Were you able to recover sensors after 0xFFFF?

Hi

I have the same issue to measure the solid object like a box. The first day it runs normally, but the second day the output is random and finally 0xFFFF

Any suggestions other than buying another model?

Hi

URM15 - 75KHZ Ultrasonic Sensor is not designed for water tank level measurement.

Could you please check whether it can work for normal items? 

Also,  it is recommended to us this sensor for water level measurement.
