SEN0312 ME007YS WATERPROOF ULTRASONIC SENSOR + Raspberry Pi

Has anyone gotten a SEN0312 ME007YS WATERPROOF ULTRASONIC SENSOR to work without the UART board? I am at a loss because the manufacturer is not responding to my emails and I am hoping to understand how to get this to function correctly.
