Does CO2 degrade the Oxygen sensors?

Hello,

I recently spoke to an engineer at RKI, a gas sensor manufacturer. I was informed that high concentrations of CO2 will rapidly degrade their O2 sensors. Is the same true for the Gravity: I2C Oxygen Sensor, SEN0322? This is the sensor that I am currently using.

Thanks,

Jesse

SEN0322 is the electrochemical principle of oxygen sensors, the internal electrolyte will only react with oxygen, high concentrations of carbon dioxide will not have a great impact on the sensor, you can test it according to the actual use of the scene.

There is no mention of degradation due to CO2 written in the sensor's specs. Let's see if we get any info from the df team.
