Gravity Analog AC Current Sensor negative current values

I am wondering if there is a possibility to collect negative current values using the gravity analog current sensor? Since the current is an AC so it should be alternating at 50 hz, and we should be able to have two type of values one that are positive and the other that are negative.
Currently I have only positive values that are captured by the current sensor. am I doing something wrong or the sensor is not supposed to capture negative values?

I am not interested at all in the RMS values, in fact I am only interested in the pure current original sine wave that I should be getting from the sensor.
Do you know how to get this?

The code will return the RMS value of current.
