Analogue PH Probe Pro Kit V2

I recently took delivery of a Gravity Analogue PH Probe Pro Kit V2.
I have noticed in the cover and floating in the liquid is what appears to be a hard piece of clear material. See photos below.
Is this normal?
The probe and clear cap do not appear to be damaged in any way.
Should I return the probe?

Thanks for the response and advice. Note the piece appears to be clear plastic as it floats in the liquid contained in the cap.
I'll try the probe to see if it works normally.
KrazyOS It is quite abnormal, the package of Gravity: Analog Industrial pH Sensor / Meter Pro Kit V2(SKU:SEN0169-V2), this metal piece is not included.
However, if the probe is fine, just use it.
If the probe does not behave normally, please contact DFrobot for the after-sell service.
