Using higher Vin than specified for Beetle ESP32 [DFR0575]

The page for the DFR0575 (link) asks for 3.5V-6.5V Vin supply voltage. I checked the schematic (v1.0, link) and it seems to use a SPX3819M5-3.3 (datasheet link) for the voltage regulator, which specifies 2.5V-16V for the input voltage. Am I safe to use a higher voltage than 6.5V then (7.4V)? Thanks.
