DF Player Pro DFR0768 - Will it work with a Mac?

I have only seen on this forum and elsewhere on the internet when someone had a problem connecting to a Mac that they should check their cable.
I am familiar with DF Player Mini and use them, but i have arduino applications that don't require large amount of storage.
So, will a Mac running the latest OS recognize the device as storage?

The DFPlayer Pro is acting like a normal USB flash disk. So it could be used on the Mac
