micro:Maqueen v4.2 power switch replacement

The power switch of my micro:Maqueen v4.2 was broken (loose connection) therefore I decided to replace it. I ordered SS-12D10 switches but none of them seem to turn the robot on. I already double checked my soldering and my batteries. What should I check next?
