Are my ESP32 Firebeetles Dead?

Hi All, hoping you can help me understand if my Firebeetle board(s) are dead or not…  I'm using them for ESP Home and in the process of making a PWM based fan controller.

The board flashed to ESPHome just fine and was looking good.  But somewhere in the process of connecting the fan, the ESP seems to have died and now I can't connect to it.  Flashing was via ESP home USB Serial in the browser.  ESPHome can still seemingly connect to the board (it appears in the list), but I cannot see any logs or re-run the pre-installer.  At the time it went offline, only the fan TACH and PWM pins were connected and also a DHT11 temp/humidity sensor.

The red led is blinking, the blue led also.

I'm not sure if I've killed the board somehow.  Appreciate some tips to further troubleshoot if possible.
