MP2636 Lipo protection?

Hi all,

I just bought this board and ask myself if there is anprotection circuit integratet for Lipo Cells.
Do I need another protection circuit for this board in combination with an unprotected Lipo cell?

In the description is only a note "Support battery overcharge protection" and my english isnt the best..

SoI hope somebody can answer my question if I need a seperate protection circuit for my projekt.
