solenoid locks SKF: FIT0620

Hi, I am new to this forum and am most certainly not an electronics person. Give me plants any day. I am interested in purchasing two solenoid locks from Core Electronics and want to know if I can simply connect the lock directly to a 12v power source and use a simple press button device to activate the unlocking. I do not need any remote systems or feedback of any kind. This type of locking device suits my needs in terms of application constraints. The staff advised me to join the forum and seek guidance so hopefully someone can assist me. Cheers and thank William
