Underwater Ultrasonic Sensor SEN 0598

I am attempting to use an Arduino Mega with the Underwater Ultrasonic sensor SEN 0598. The sample code that is provided is not working, nothing is being displayed to the serial terminal. I am using a Baud rate of 115200 and am wondering if that is potentially the problem. I believe that everything is wired correctly. Wondering if anyone else has any advice on this sensor as I am not finding a lot of examples besides the given one.
