SEN0531

Hello,

I am looking for a sensor that will detect a hand passed in front of it, but only if the hand is within around 100mm.

After teh distance has been set for the SEN0531, it works but occasionally does not pick up the hand. This seems to be related to the speed the hand is passed in front of the sensor.  If the hand is present very briefly the sensor is not triggered.

I have checked bot the digital output (on a scope) and have watched the LED on the sensor and the same happens.

Can you confirm if there is a way to make the sensor respond faster?
