Lark Weather station firmware source code

Hi, 

I work on the Meshtastic firmware project, and we have purchased some of the Lark weather stations for use as an i2c peripheral to send environmental telemetry over mesh networks. However, we'd like to also potentially have some applications where the Lark initiates some of the messages by acting as a client controlling the connected Meshtastic device over UART. That leads me to my question:
Is the firmware for the Lark weather station open sourced or planned to be released in the future?
