Lark flashing RED after trying Communication to UART in Config.txt file
Tavdog 2024-06-09 10:51:06 72 Views7 Replies I can't seem to turn on UART mode for the Lark weather station. When I change the first line in the Config.txt file from I2C to UART it just flashes red at me on reboot.
Also, apparently it needs to be uart in the config file not UART for .
Tavdog Connect the Lark to the computer, open the USB drive that pops up on the computer, and open Config.txt. Change the first line from I2C to UART, Both uppercase and lowercase UART are acceptable.

When you modify the config file and restart Lark, if the yellow light turns off and the red light turns on, it means that incorrect configuration information was written to the config file. In this case, you need to do the following: format Lark's USB drive, then power it off. Power it back on and wait for the yellow light to turn off, then power it off and on again. At this point, you will see a brand new config file on Lark's USB drive.
