IR Sensor Which one to Choose?

Hi, 

I intend to start a project in which I need an IR sensor paired to an Arduino to determine the bounce back from different frequencies; I intend to distinguish different materials without trying to go too expensive into the IR spectroscopy side. 

I see that there are plenty of options in DFRobot. Which will best suit my specific objective?
