Replacement motors for Devastator Tank Chasis

I would like to replace the original motors with Metal Gear Motors with encoders attached.

Is the Metal DC Geared Motor w/Encoder - 6V 300RPM 3.6Kg.cm (FIT0520) a direct fit, if not what would you recommend?

Can you tell me the spec of the original motor please

Check the size, mounting hole positions, and overall dimensions of the FIT0520 motor against your current motor.If the FIT0520 is not a direct fit, consider motors from reputable suppliers.
