DFR0941 DAC HAT

I am trying to use this DAC for Raspberri pi 4 decoding of DSD Files to I2S external DAC. It will not properly decode DSD direct or DoP correctly using Moodeaudio.  Which is the correct driver? "Generic I2S works but is there a better one that would correct this problem? Are firmware updates available and if so where?  I can't find any one trying to use this DAC HAT but myself.
