RP-L-170 Trimming

I am using the RP-L-170 Thin Film Pressure Sensor within an Arduino project, however, the object I am mounting the pressure sensor on is 130mm whilst this is 170mm. Would it be possible for me to cut portions of the sensor off - in order to fit the sensor to the surface of this object?
